Quick Freeze Deep Etch EM is a process where samples a rapidly frozen by slamming into liquid helium. Frozen samples are then fractured, etched (sublimated) and provide crucial information on membrane structures and tight junctions. Project will cover slam freezing and fracturing / etching for a single replica. This method can be optionally used with immuno labeling.
