1Commercial access (during peak business hours only) to WUCCI resources will only be granted after research use agreement is in place.
2Peak time is defined as Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm, off-peak is at all other times and over the weekend.
3Live-cell and Lightsheet imaging per day rate is for 24 hours of use. If imaging moves into a second 24-hour period, the charges for the second period will be charged to the half-day.
4SEM imaging per day rate is for 24 hours of use. If imaging moves into a second 24-hour period, the charges for the second period will be charged to the half day.
5Cryo-EM imaging per day rate is for 24 hours of use. If imaging moves into a second 24-hour period, the charges for the second period will be charged to the half-day.
6XRM imaging per day rate is for 24 hours of use. If imaging moves into a second 24-hour period, the charges for the second period will be charged to the half day.

NO-SHOW AND CANCELLATION POLICY:

Users who do not cancel their scheduled sessions at least two hours in advance will incur a 50% no-show fee based on the original reservation cost.
This policy is not intended as a penalty, but rather to promote consideration of others who may be waiting to use the same equipment.
We understand that unexpected situations arise, and we will do our best to remain flexible.

For example, if you have a reservation and arrive late—requiring a new reservation the same day—you will not be charged the no-show fee if you still use the originally reserved equipment that day.

Please note: We are aware that several federal funding agencies prohibit the use of federal grant funds for fees or penalties, such as no-show charges.
We understand that many of our users rely on federal funding. Users are encouraged to update their iLab payment settings to designate their departmental cost center
account—not a federal grant—as the default payment source. This allows departmental administrators to manage and reallocate charges internally to the appropriate
grant or funding source, ensuring smoother billing processes and minimizing the risk of unallowable costs being charged to federal awards.
